Hoy a las 13:00 horas concluye el primer plazo de inscripción a través del portal acceso.mineduc.cl para todos los postulantes a las 43 universidades adscritas al Nuevo Sistema de Acceso a la Educación Superior. Para todos quienes por diversos motivos no alcanzaron a hacerlo, tal como cada año, se abrirá un segundo proceso online desde el 31 de agosto en el mismo portal.
En el marco del Nuevo Sistema de Acceso a la Educación Superior, hoy a las 13:00 horas concluye el primer proceso de inscripción a la Prueba de Transición para la admisión universitaria 2021, a la cual hasta el día de ayer se habían inscrito más de 204 mil jóvenes. Pero para todos aquellos que, por diversos motivos, no alcanzaron a inscribirse, tal como cada año, se abrirá un segundo proceso de inscripción, que comenzará el 31 de agosto en acceso.mineduc.cl. En la plataforma, los estudiantes de IV Medio y todos quienes quieran postular a las 43 universidades adscritas al Sistema podrán inscribirse para rendir la prueba que tendrá lugar el 4 y 5 de enero de 2021.
En el proceso de inscripción, los alumnos que están cursando IV Medio en colegios municipales, servicios locales de educación, particulares subvencionados y de administración delegada quedarán exentos de pago, con lo que se beneficiará a más de 191 mil estudiantes de todo el país. Adicionalmente, los estudiantes chilenos que no pudieron inscribirse porque no cuentan con cédula de identidad vigente, podrán realizar su inscripción con el certificado de nacimiento vigente, emitido por el registro civil (sin costo), mientras aquellos que aún tengan Notas de Enseñanza Media de años anteriores pendientes, podrán inscribirse, aceptando un consentimiento informado respecto de su responsabilidad para resolver dichas situaciones antes de la rendición de la prueba.
“Llamamos a todos los jóvenes que ya están realizando el proceso a concluirlo hoy antes de las 13:00 horas y, entendiendo que no todos alcanzan a inscribirse en el primer proceso, al igual que en años anteriores, desde el próximo lunes 31 de agosto al 7 de septiembre abriremos un segundo plazo de inscripción. El llamado a los postulantes es a informarse e inscribirse a la nueva Prueba de Transición en el portal acceso.mineduc.cl, en el que además podrán encontrar toda la información que necesitan para su proceso de postulación a la Educación Superior”, señaló el subsecretario de Educación Superior, Juan Eduardo Vargas.
Respecto del proceso, es importante recordar que los jóvenes que rindieron la PSU 2020 y deseen hacer uso de su puntaje podrán hacerlo respecto de las pruebas rendidas. De esta manera, será posible hacer uso del puntaje obtenido en 2020 de las pruebas de Matemática, Lenguaje y Comunicación, y Ciencias, pero si el postulante desea obtener un puntaje en la prueba de Historia, Geografía y Ciencias Sociales (que no se aplicó), deberá inscribirse para rendir la Prueba Electiva de Historia y Ciencias Sociales dentro de los plazos establecidos, sin costo alguno, en acceso.mineduc.cl. En caso de que algún postulante quiera rendir todas las pruebas nuevamente, podrá inscribirlas al igual que cualquier postulante, cancelando el arancel correspondiente en el mismo portal de inscripción.
Sobre la nueva Prueba de Transición
Como parte del reemplazo de la PSU por la nueva Prueba de Transición, las nuevas pruebas obligatorias de Comprensión Lectora y Matemáticas, disminuirán sus preguntas de 80 a 65, producto en gran parte de la menor cantidad de contenidos que se consideran respecto de la PSU. Adicionalmente, en el contexto de pandemia, en abril fueron nuevamente ajustados los contenidos, dejando solo los contenidos esenciales de IV Medio. Para apoyar a los estudiantes en su preparación, se estableció una alianza con preuniversitarios para que los jóvenes puedan inscribirse de manera gratuita a través del portal aprendoenlinea.mineduc.cl.
