Acceso a la Educación Superior: ¡Ya están publicados los ensayos online de la nueva Prueba de Transición 2021! El Ministerio de Educación y el DEMRE de la Universidad de Chile publicaron hoy modelos online de la prueba, que permitirá a los estudiantes prepararse para la evaluación que es parte del proceso de admisión 2021 a las universidades. La inscripción para rendir la prueba (que se tomará el 4 y 5 de enero de 2021) sigue abierta hasta el 21 de agosto en acceso.mineduc.cl.

Con el objetivo de que los jóvenes que quieren ingresar a la Educación Universitaria puedan prepararse mejor para la nueva Prueba de Transición (PDT), que se rendirá el 4 y 5 de enero de 2021, hoy el Ministerio de Educación junto al DEMRE de la Universidad de Chile publicaron los ensayos online de esta evaluación. Se trata de siete modelos de las pruebas obligatorias de Comprensión Lectora y Matemática, así como de las pruebas electivas de Historia y Ciencias Sociales, Ciencias Biología, Ciencias Física, Ciencias Química y Ciencias para egresados de la Educación Media Técnico Profesional, a las que se puede acceder libremente y en las que los jóvenes podrán responder una a una las preguntas, considerando el tiempo de duración de cada evaluación. Una vez finalizado el ensayo, el sistema entregará al estudiante el puntaje obtenido y un reporte con el detalle de las respuestas correctas, erradas y omitidas.

Más de 111 mil los inscritos a la Prueba de Transición 2021

Hasta el 21 de agosto seguirá abierto el proceso de inscripción a la Prueba de Transición, al que ya se han inscrito 111.418 mil jóvenes a través del portal acceso.mineduc.cl. Al inscribirse, los alumnos que cursan IV Medio en colegios municipales, servicios locales de educación, particulares subvencionados y de administración delegada, quedarán exentos de pago, con lo que se beneficiará a más de 191 mil estudiantes de todo el país. Adicionalmente, los estudiantes de IV Medio de establecimientos privados también podrán eximirse del pago si así lo requieren, para lo cual deberán acreditar su situación de vulnerabilidad ante Junaeb, a través de sus establecimientos educacionales.

Cabe recordar que la nueva Prueba de Transición sumará gradualmente nuevas preguntas que buscan medir las competencias fundamentales para el buen desempeño de los estudiantes en la Educación Superior, y adicionalmente, suprime un tercio de los contenidos de la antigua PSU, que de acuerdo con la evidencia no eran esenciales y propiciaban inequidades entre los estudiantes. Adicionalmente, en el contexto de la emergencia sanitaria por COVID-19, en abril el Ministerio de Educación y DEMRE de la Universidad de Chile ajustaron los contenidos de IV Medio de la prueba, priorizando solo aquellos que son esenciales.

Los jóvenes que rindieron la PSU 2020 y deseen hacer uso de su puntaje podrán hacerlo respecto de las pruebas rendidas, es decir, Lenguaje y Comunicación, Matemática y Ciencias. En el caso de que el postulante desee obtener un puntaje en la prueba de Historia, Geografía y Ciencias Sociales (que no se aplicó en 2020), deberá inscribirse para rendir esta prueba dentro de los plazos establecidos, sin costo alguno.
